Family Garage is a shared vehicle maintenance tracker for families. Log service records, track upcoming maintenance, and keep everyone in the household on the same page — all organized by garage.
Family Garage uses your phone number — no password needed. Enter your number, and we'll send a 6-digit verification code via SMS. Enter the code to sign in. You'll stay signed in for 30 days before needing to verify again.
After signing in, tap the Cars tab. If you don't belong to a garage yet, you'll see a prompt to create one. Give it a name (e.g. "The Marshalonis Family") and tap Create. You're automatically added as a member.
Open the Settings tab and select your garage, then tap Invite Member. Enter their phone number — they'll receive an SMS with instructions to download the app and accept the invitation. Invitations expire after 7 days.
In the Cars tab, tap the + button. You can enter the make, model, year, and mileage manually, or tap Scan VIN to use your camera to scan the barcode on the driver's door jamb or windshield. A VIN scan automatically fills in the vehicle details and checks for any open safety recalls.
Tap a car to open its detail view, then tap any service category (e.g. Oil Change) or tap + to log a new record. Enter the service date, mileage, and optionally set a next-due mileage or date so the app can remind you when service is coming up.
The Report tab shows a summary for every car in your garage — the most recent service date for key maintenance types, and an Upcoming section listing anything due within 500 miles or 30 days.
Oil Change, Tire Rotation, Brake Service, State Inspection, Emissions Inspection, Battery Replacement, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Transmission Service, Registration, and Other.
Go to the Settings tab and tap Delete Account at the bottom. This permanently removes your account, your garage memberships, and all data associated with your phone number. If you are the only member of a garage, the garage and its cars and service records are deleted as well.
